In order for us to ensure that at Rocky Hollow Guest Farm, all of our guests are comfortable and happy whilst staying with us, we here list our rules and regulations which are compulsory for all of our guests of honor.

RULES & REGULATIONS:

  • All guests entering Rocky Hollow Guest Farm do so at your own risk.
  • No alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the premises
  • The use of candles and gas lamps inside guest rooms are strictly forbidden.
  • Smoking inside guest rooms is prohibited. Penalties will apply.
  • No pets are allowed on the Rocky Hollow Guest Farm premises.
  • Swimming is at your own risk please note we DO NOT provide the services of the life-guard.
  • No excessive noise levels will be tolerated on the premises.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverages to guests who are demonstrating intoxicated behavior.
  • Management further reserves the right to remove/ have removed guests from the premises, who boast a threat, discomfort or danger to other guests and or the building and all of its contents.
  • No firearms and / or weapons may be kept within the premises without license.
  • Guests are not allowed to play loud music (from vehicles on the premises, inside guest room, or around external bar and boma fire, etc.). Management reserves to their sole discretion, the right to control the noise level and music timing.
  • A maximum number of two guests are allowed in standard and deluxe rooms, with the exemption of prior arrangements with Rocky Hollow Guest Farm for the toddlers and kids up to 4 years old. guest rooms, which were reserved for one guest, will attract an additional charge, should the guest occupancy exceed this number.
  • All guest rooms will be checked together with the guest on arrival and departure. Any item and / or object, left in an inferior state to check-in, will incur a replacement-charge for the guest and is payable before departure.
  • All guests are required to sign the guest-room itinerary on arrival and on departure. Any vacancies, will be charged to the guest account and is payable before departure.
  • Lost items will be kept for 48 hours. Postage can be arranged at additional cost. Rocky Hollow Guest Farm will not be held responsible for loss or stolen items.
  • All parking on Rocky Hollow Guest Farm premises is at own risk.
  • Rocky Hollow Guest Farm is to be notified of any special medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, allergies, etc.
  • All amenities at the Rocky Hollow guest Farm are used at their own risk.
  • Rocky Hollow Guest Farm will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.
  • Rocky Hollow Guest Farm will not be held responsible for any injuries occurred on the premises.
  • Respect the property of the Lodge and other guests. Please do not remove anything from the premises.
  • It is fraud not to disclose the correct number of guests.
  • Please do not litter. We are proud of our area and country.
  • Rooms must be vacated by 10.00 and remember to hand in your key. R100 per hour will be charged after 10.00am.
  • ID/Passport is required at check-in. 
  • Car registration number will be required at check-in
  • Due to security reasons, Rocky Hollow Guest Farm reserves the right of admission.
  • By booking at Rocky Hollow all guests do agree to the above T&C’s.

COVID 19 Response:

In accordance with government guidelines to minimize transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property may request additional documentation from guests to validate identity, travel itinerary and other relevant information, during dates where such guidelines exist. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are currently in effect at this property. Food & beverage services at this property may be limited or unavailable due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result. All guests are required to please wear their own masks and sanitize regularly. Sanitizers are provided in all rooms and throughout the guest house in strategic locations. Rooms and bathrooms will have non- essential items and soft furnishings reduced in order to meet our cleansing and sanitizing requirements. Guests are encouraged to please bring their own toiletries (soap, shampoo etc), although we will be able to provide items on request.

Cancellation Policy:

More than 10 weeks before check-in – 100% deposit refunded

8 weeks before check-in – 50% deposit refunded

6 weeks and less before check-in – 0% deposit refunded

Only Covid related illness, a doctor’s certificate or serious circumstances such as family funerals will be considered for alternative travel dates. T& C’s apply regarding availability.

NO refunds will be granted due to any Covid legislation or if the government stops travel for citizens. Only alternative dates will be given once travel bans are lifted. T&C’s apply regarding availability.
